Twitter. Its their fault.

According to UPI, many San Francisco companies are banning the use of electronic devices at their meetings. These blackberry/iphone/laptop haters are blaming the use of computers and the like on lower levels of attention displayed during meetings. These companies have no idea the can of death-worms they are opening if they make the wrong choice here. They think that people will pay more attention when they cannot connect with others via electronic means, what they fail to realize is that those very electronic means are the only thing keeping their meetings from dissolving into the carpeted area of a grade three, behaviorally challenged, elementary class. Their employees need twitter, facebook, digg, and OE (fingers crossed) just to get through the meeting. I recommend these companies watch “Lord of the Flies”, they should get the point.
